Jon Lewis - Team Manager
Jon Lewis founded American Spirit Racing over 22 years ago while driving in the IMSA Firestone Firehawk Endurance Championship. Since 1987, American Spirit Racing has grown to encompass both a race-winning Team operation and a well-respected motorsports marketing company.
Jon's driving career included IMSA's SuperCar Series, Camel GTP, Exxon Supreme Series and Barber Saab Series. In 1994, with the birth of his younger daughter, Jon stepped out of the cockpit to concentrate on Team management and building the marketing side of the company. Since that time American Spirit Racing has gone on to operate race-winning teams in Trans-Am, ProSportsCar's GT2, Formula BMW, American Le Mans LMP1 & 2 and Indy Lights.
The marketing side of the company has grown as well, representing over 20 high-profile companies, developing, implementing and managing highly-successful motorsports marketing campaigns. |

Michael Gaglione - Crew Chief
Crew Chief for American Spirit Racing in the American Le Mans Series, Trans-Am Series & Formula BMW since 1998.
When the Team decided to enter IndyCar in 2007, Michael chose to remain in IMSA racing with American Le Mans Series prototype teams of Autocon and Intersport Racing. Michael was also a key component to Intersport's IMSA Lites operation in 2009.
From 1998 to 2006, Michael has maintained American Spirit Racing’s cars with a dedication to detail and performance unmatched by most in the world of motor sport. Michael returns to American Spirit Racing for the 2010 season.
A proven record of on-track performance and a no-nonsense approach to car preparation, Michael has been an instrumental part of American Spirit Racing’s on-track success.

Rossella Manfrinato - Engineer
Rossella has been an award winning engineer for many years, including working for Dallara as their chief engineering liason during the initial stage of the development of the Dallara Indy lights car. Rossella was the Chief Engineer for American Spirit Racing in Indy Lights during the 2008 season with driver Cyndie Allemann. She has a well rounded experience with cars in just about all forms of motorsport, including IndyCar, American LeMans prototypes, Grand-Am, Formula Mazda and more. Rossella is also very experienced in IMSA Lites2 cars working with Andersen Racing in the past.
Outside of her engineering experience, Rossella maintains her own driving edge competing in Formula Continental in SCCA Club Racing. Her knowledge both as an engineer and as a driver provides the understanding of what is going on in the car, which helps build a strong communication factor with her drivers. |
